August was National Wellness Month and Fours Sisters Bakery chose the Friends of the Black Mountain Library as their charity.  $1,000 or 100% of their walnut brownie sales were raised and donated for library efforts!

Co-owner and baker, Dorothy Goodman, believes that “books, reading, imagination and education are key parts to our wellbeing.”

After a library visit, stop by Four Sisters Bakery and support our local bakers while treating  yourself to a sweet or savory goody. Library staff and board favorites include the walnut brownies, chicken pot pies and focaccia. Also, check out their website to learn more (foursistersblackmountain.com).
