Library Float Wins Award in Parade
Our parade float, “Black Mountain Public Library: Bringing Joy for 100 Years” to commemorate our centennial, won second place in the annual Black Mountain Holiday Parade! We had a blast as we marched along State Street greeting the crowd with a LIBRARY chant, waving and tossing candy.

Thank you to all our volunteer elves who helped with this project – decorating, driving the tractor, waving, and tossing candy, wearing groovy “100” glasses, dismantling the float and more! We couldn’t have done it without you!
