A Few Tips for Growing Roses in Western North Carolina

1. Roses like at least 6 hours of full sun a day.

2. Roses like rich, well drained soil.

3. When it’s hot, like it is now, roses need 1 to 2 inches of water a week.

4.  Roses are not impossible to grow!  There are varieties that are disease resistant and grow well in Western North Carolina
