Sewing & Mending Repair Event with WNC Repair Café, March 14 from 4-7pm
The Black Mountain Library is thrilled to join other Buncombe County library branches and host our first WNC Repair sewing and mending repair event this March!
Join us at this collaborative event on March 14 from 4:00-7:00 pm in the Community Room at the Black Mountain Library. Volunteer sewing specialists will be mending clothing and other household sewing repairs – including patching, stitching, buttons, zipper repair, hemming, and more. Repairs are not limited to clothing – bring your stuffed animals, old purse, leather gloves, etc. If it’s fabric, we’ll try to fix it! Sorry, sewing machine repairs are not offered at this event.
Early registration is not necessary. Please read the House Rules before attending.
