September FoL Volunteer of the Month
Susan Edwards is a breath of fresh air and sunshine in our Friends of the Library volunteer group. Cheerful, hardworking, and dedicated, she helps sort donated books, assists with book sales, and creates enticing booth displays for our events. She is also our FOL social media coordinator, and her posts are both entertaining and informative. Susan has patiently trained our Etsy book sellers on the setup and use of Etsy which has been a big boost to our FOL revenue that supports the Black Mountain Library. All this plus she has a sense of humor!
Born in Delaware, Susan worked in state and federal government and moved to Black Mountain in 2009. She loves to travel (Paris is a favorite), is an excellent cook and enjoys reading. Susan is also a dedicated yard sale/flea market aficionado with an excellent eye for unique treasures and finds. Her creativity and experience are wonderful attributes for our active organization.
