Library Lovers’ Day – February 14th
Everyone knows about the holiday celebrated on February 14th every year. But did you know that day is also Library Lovers’ Day? And, as Friends of the Library we all love libraries, especially our town library. What can you do to celebrate Library Lovers’ Day?
The most obvious would be to visit our library, not only to check out a book to read, but to take time to really walk around and discover all the parts and pieces of the library. Check out the different reading areas, the used bookstore for great bargains, the jigsaw puzzle exchange, the online card catalog, the music cds, the dvd movies, the large audio book section, the seed library and much more. As you leave with proud smile on your face, remember to thank our excellent library staff.
