Remembering Sherri Cronin
It is with sadness that we share the news of Sherrie Cronin’s passing. Sherrie was formerly the Secretary for the Friends of the Black Mountain Library and wrote our first newsletter in 2017. She worked with Pam King to re-energize the FOL at that time.
She also wrote a NC Humanities Grant that funded an FOL series called Book Banter. Book Banter was a book discussion group that included an expert in whatever topic was being read. In addition to being a prolific reader she was also a writer and self-published twelve novels. A celebration of Sherrie’s life will take place Saturday, November 11th, 2023, at 3pm at the Lakeview Center Clubhouse at Lake Tomahawk.
