Our August Volunteer of the Month

Where to begin?  She is involved with so many of our FOL activities. She volunteers with the seed library, sorts book donations, helps maintain the library’s container garden, and operates a very successful Etsy FOL book shop.  Who is this volunteer?

Lyndall Noyes-Brownell. She rocks with energy, enthusiasm, and optimism!

Lyndall’s heart has always been in the country. She was raised outside of Cooperstown, NY (home of the Baseball Hall of Fame) and she is a huge Braves fan.  She spent many years at Deloitte as a Compliance Specialist until retirement. Lyndall and her husband David then relocated to their favorite town, Black Mountain, where they live with Lyndall’s best fur-buddy dog, Ranger, and 3 happy cats.

She spends countless hours volunteering with the FOL, as well as the Black Mountain Beautification Committee. She is also an active Buncombe County Master Gardener. Any spare time is spent in her own garden or reading a book.

Lyndall gives her parents credit for her sense of humor, love of nature and animals, and hard work ethic. In her own words, “Life is good!”Thank you, Lyndall, for your wonderful support of our Black Mountain Library.
